We are a resource of information, allowing our Brides and Grooms to be as involved as they wish in the planning process: we can plan every detail from start to finish or step back to offer moral support as needed. Hiring a wedding planner allows our Bride and Groom to enjoy their wedding day, backed with the knowledge that they have a professional taking care of everything for them.

Why can’t I do all the planning myself?
Of course you can do the planning yourself and that is part of the fun! Why can’t my mom or best friend help me plan my wedding?
Planning a wedding can be stressful, especially when the people doing it are involved emotionally. Friends and family want everything to be perfect for you, or what they think is perfect for you, this could lead to potential conflicts and hurt feelings. Even though friends and family members have very good intentions, they deserve and want to enjoy the wedding with you rather than spending the day working. MarshmelloWorld offers a high level of service, we are hired to watch over all the details and make sure that your wedding day is worry and stress free – for everyone.
My reception venue has a wedding coordinator; do I still need to hire a wedding planner?
A venue coordinator works for the venue; their job is to answer your questions about the venue and assist you with your venue layout. They are someone you may contact if you need extra reassurance about the details of your wedding venue, however, their loyalty is to the venue. Their job does not include all the other details that go into planning your wedding.
A wedding planner, on the other hand, is involved from the very beginning of the planning process. Your wedding planner will handle each detail of your wedding from start to finish – everything from finding a venue and the appropriate suppliers to actually being there on your wedding day to make sure everything runs smoothly and as planned. Having a wedding planner reduces the natural stress of planning a wedding that you can enjoy the entire process and have complete confidence that all the details are taken care of for you.
When is a good time to engage a wedding planner?
Ideally, you will hire your wedding planner immediately after your engagement so that you may begin working with them right away. Most Brides and Grooms contact us approximately 10-8 months prior to their selected wedding date, however, Marshmelloworld has designed comprehensive services that can commence at any point prior to your wedding day .This of course does not mean that we cannot work with a shorter period with brisk efficiency.
HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU REQUIRE TO PLAN AND COORDINATE A WEDDING?
You would need to begin discussing your needs with us at least 8-10 months in advance. Once you have decided that MarshmelloWorld can help, we require you to book our services at least 6 months prior to the wedding date to ensure that we are available and have enough time to plan and execute your wedding to match or exceed your expectations on the day

Yes! MarshmelleWorld is happy to handle all of the celebrations surrounding your wedding – before, during and after your wedding day
WE ARE BOTH FROM DIFFERENT RELIGIOUS BACKGROUNDS, HOW CAN YOU ORGANIZE A SECULAR CELEBRATION?

HOW MUCH DO YOUR WEDDING PLANNING SERVICES COST?
Wedding planners generally charge a management/service fee, which is typically a percentage of the total wedding budget and amount of work and is finalised after discussions with you. However there are costs savings you will receive from the special rates offered exclusively to us by our vendors and suppliers. Hiring us does not necessarily cost you more than your planned budge
If I’m a non-resident Indian/live out of the country, can MarshmelloWorld help with the planning of my wedding?
Undoubtedly. We have managed, and carried through weddings of this similar nature earlier wherein the couple may have arrived in India only a week before their wedding and we made it a point to that the entire process advanced successfully. In case of any doubts or clarifications, we can always stay in touch through e-mails, phone calls and Skype
What additional types of events do you plan, coordinate or manage?

Do you charge for an initial consultation?
No. Our initial consultation is complimentary. This is a chance for us to get to know each other and see if we’re a good fit for one another. In most cases, a 50% retainer with a signed contract is required to secure our services and reserve your wedding date
Do you support or cater to any specific religions?
We cater to all religions, and will be happy to ensure that religious customs and traditions are incorporated into any ceremony or reception as requested
Will you be at my wedding / Event?
Absolutley! Your coordinator will be the person you see most on your day. We may have an assistant, or several, with us as well but your coordinator will be the go to person overseeing the details from the minute vendors begin to arrive for drop offs until the very last candle is blown out & the votives are put away at the end of the night!
How many weddings or events do you coordinate per day?
We only coordinate one event per consultant per day. Your coordinator will have no other events to distract them from your event.
How much communication will we have?
There is no limit on email or phone comminucation. You can email, call or text as much & as often as you need. It is our policy to respond to all messages with in 24 business hours. Our goal is to ensure you are always in the loop, feeling heard & feeling confident in the proceedings.
Do you get a commission for using your preferred vendors?
It is unethical for us to do that. We NEVER accept a commission for booking with a specific vendor. We pass any discounts we get to you. Our preferred vendors are preferred not because they give us commissions, they are preferred because they do great quality work and they are really nice to work with! Our preferred vendors are people who are pleasant, ethical, professionals. We love working with other vendors so if there is a company you like and want on your event team, we are happy to work with them. If we don’t know them, we are happy to get to know them and maybe they will make our preferred vendor list too
